Kota, or Kota doriya, is the name of a light woven fabric of tiny woven squares that is still handwoven on traditional pit looms in Kaithoon, near Kota in Rajasthan, and some of the nearby villages. Nowadays, though most Kota Doria fabrics are made on power looms.

Care Instruction : First Wash: It Is Recommended To Dry Clean The Kota Cotton Dupatta For The First Wash To Maintain Its Color And Texture. Subsequent Washes: After The Initial Dry Cleaning, You Can Gently Hand Wash The Dupatta At Home Using A Mild Soap. Avoid Soaking The Fabric. Drying: Dry The Dupatta In The Shade To Prevent Discoloration Or Fading, And Avoid Wringing It Out. Ironing: Iron Gently, Preferably With A Cool Or Mild Setting.
