Beetal goats are a large, dual-purpose (milk & meat) breed from Indias Punjab region, known for their parrot-like nose (Roman nose), long drooping ears (like betel leaves), and varied colours (black, brown, red, often with white patches). They are excellent milk producers (up to 4L/day), adaptable, and prized for high-quality leather, with males often having beards and females having funnel-shaped udders.
