Eri Silk (also known as the Fabric of Peace). Unlike typical shiny silks, Eri has a unique matte finish and a texture that resembles a blend of fine wool and linen. It is a dense, opaque fabric that drapes elegantly for a structured yet comfortable shirt.

Handcrafted in the Bodoland Territorial Region of Assam, India, a protected heritage zone where Eri silk holds Geographical Indication (GI) status for its authentic origin. The regions unique subtropical climate sustains the specific silkworm and castor plants used by Bodo artisans to create this world-renowned Fabric of Peace.

100% Pure Organic Eri Silk. This is a protein-based natural fibre harvested from the Samia ricini moth. It is entirely sustainable and often processed using traditional methods that avoid harsh industrial chemicals.

Ahimsa (Cruelty-Free) Silk: The silk is harvested only after the moth has naturally vacated the cocoon, ensuring no living creatures are harmed.
All-Season Wear: Due to its unique thermal properties, it keeps the wearer warm in winter and cool in summer.
Skin-Friendly: It is naturally hypoallergenic and gentle on sensitive skin, making it an ideal choice for high-end shirting.

Washing: Hand wash in cold water with a mild, pH-neutral detergent; do not soak for over 5 minutes.
Drying: Do not wring. Roll in a towel to absorb moisture and line dry in the shade.
Ironing: Iron on a medium Silk setting while the fabric is slightly damp for a crisp look.
Storage: Store in a cool, dry place inside a breathable cotton bag to allow the fibres to breathe.
