Kadaknath chicks are tiny, often with dark stripes on their backs, and grow into unique black-plumed chickens known as Black Gold for their black skin, meat, organs, and even blood, due to high melanin. Valued for its medicinal properties and unique flavour, it is considered a delicacy and boosts vigor, with its meat used in traditional remedies for ailments like anaemia, and eggs recommended for health-conscious diets.
